Starting A Business Talks At Dublin City Library

Dublin City Library is hosting six free talks on starting your own business, starting next week, in conjunction with the Local Enterprise Office and the Entrepreneurs Academy. 

The series starts on Thursday 20 September and runs until 25 October in the Business Information Centre at the Central Library in the Ilac Shopping Centre, with all talks starting at 6.30pm.

The programme is designed to inform potential entrepreneurs. The lectures will cover subjects such as the characteristics needed to run and fund your business, as well as digital marketing strategies and developing a business plan.

The six talks are as follows:

  1. 20 September: Becoming a Successful Entrepreneur: How You Can Create and Produce Ideas, with Brendan Fitzpatrick
  2. 27 September: Creating the Best Business Plan for Your Business, with Brendan Fitzpatrick
  3. 4 October: Market Research Skills: What You Need to Do to Be Successful, with Michael Keogh
  4. 11 October: Managing Your Online Presence: A Digital Plan to Help Increase Sales, with Michael Keogh
  5. 18 October: Entrepreneurial Finance and Grants, with Rory Finegan
  6. 25 October: Essential Supports and Services for Entrepreneurs: Who’s Out There To Help, with Rory Finegan
