LINC JumpStart Competition For Entrepreneurs

The annual JumpStart competition organised by the LINC Centre at at the Institute of Technology Blanchardstown is seeking entries from entrepreneurs to win €10,000 cash and office space. The winner will get a cash prize of €10,000, office space at the LINC and mentoring supports.

LINC manager Assumpta Harvey commented: “The 2015 winners Groopeze are expanding into new markets and are great ambassadors for Irish entrepreneurs abroad. The entry into JumpStart has been simplified this year and the competition offers mentoring, financial and infrastructural supports to enable the winning company grow.”

 

 

Interested applicants must meet the following criteria:
•  Be in business for less than two years
• Demonstrate intent to export if they are not already exporting
• Demonstrate substantial growth to strengthen the economic impact of the business within the region.

Entrants have to record a three minute pitch and send a link via www.thelinc.ie/jumpstart.

The closing date for receipt of videos is October 14. The sponsors for Jumpstart 2016 are Alexion Pharmaceuticals Inc, Fingal Local Enterprise Office and AIB.
