Healthy fast food company Freshly Chopped is to open its 50th outlet at Ulster University later this year, and will add another nine new stores in Britain, Cyprus and the island of Ireland before next Christmas.

The first British store will open in Manchester while new franchise outlets are set to open in the University of Limerick, Tralee, Drogheda, Tullamore, and Limerick .

Managing director Brian Lee (pictured) said: “We are delighted to be accelerating our growth across four different markets. Our mission has always been to bring healthy fast food to as many people as possible and we’re proud of our continued momentum. These ten new stores showcase the success of our growth programme that we have used to continue the revolution in healthy fast food.”

Lettuce selections, garden fresh vegetables, salad dressings, and more than 90 ingredients are ‘chopped’ and freshly dressed, served as a salad bowl or in a wrap. Full calories are counted for each salad and wrap and all outlets offer delivery, collection, take-away and dine-in service, with fast service times.
