O’Brien is an author and businessman, who started off as general manager of the busiest Bewley’s outlet, on Grafton Street.

He expanded the Bewley’s franchise and subsequently failed to gain traction with his venture. But O’Brien rose to success again with Carambola Kidz, which now supplies lunches every day to schools all over Ireland. Single tickets for the seminar cost €150.
