This inaugural conference makes the bold claim to be “Ireland’s biggest digital conference for SMEs”. It is being organised by a company called Digicon Media, set up in December 2015, which describes itself as “a new, dynamic, innovative thinking company that sees Cork as becoming a leader in the space of real and relevant digital conferences”.

The conference is aimed primarily at SMEs that want to grow their business online. Speakers lined up so far include David Harris, head of Facebook’s service and sales team for SME, EMEA, and Graham Barry, EMEA brand lead, products and solutions, with YouTube. Other speakers hail from Google and PayPal. Early-bird tickets cost €245 each; the normal price is €295.
