Renault Ireland claims its video series featuring well known GAA players has clocked up one million video views on social channels.

Launched on the car marque’s social networks in June, Driven features six GAA personalities taking a reflective, honest and open look at where each discovered their love of the game and learned their trade, while reminiscing on career highlights and the pride of wearing the county colours.

Renault says that 2,500 kilometres were clocked up during the making of the series all around Ireland in the home clubs and counties of each player over six days of filming.

The series takes viewers on a journey with Renault brand ambassadors including Kerry’s Marc Ó Sé (pictured), Clare hurling captain Anthony Daly, Westmeath’s Dessie Dolan, Kilkenny’s Jackie Tyrrell and Dublin’s Alan Brogan. Also featured in the series is rising Cork footballer Orla Finn. The series was made by ad agency OMD and production company Headcase.

In the soccer arena, Renault has renewed its sponsorhip of Premier League football coverage on Sky Sports for three years.

The partnership sees TV idents broadcast in and around 128 live Premier League games on Sky Sports this season, using the theme ‘Getting You to The Game in Style’.

Across the UK and Ireland, Renault idents also feature on Sky’s Out-of-Home feed, On Demand service and the Sky Go platform.

Renault also sponsors digital coverage of the Premier League on skysports.com and the Sky Sports App, including video and display advertising.
